Swine flu research gets seven million boost from Australian government

SWINE FLU has triggered a mini stimulus in medical research with the Government announcing it will finance 41 research projects, among them the risks to children and why some people get flu more severely than others.

The results of the $7 million research campaign, expected by December, may come in time to combat swine flu in Australia.
